YES! that is "3 Howling Dogs" down in those rock shadows. As I was painting I saw the dog forms when I had the perfect image shadows combined with sea mist. I was later told when the wind blows a certain way very hard, you can hear them howling. This page is linked to by my Maui Coloring Book series of pages.

This is another earlier version of Kaupo's Aloha Church that I painted on 11-10-89, Painting # 497, this morning painting is in the Kaupo Store on display. I had never entered it on my site before now, 2006, because I gave Linda and Manny the painting the day I finished it. I had not started the web site until 1990. 16x12 and 10x8 giclees are available at the Kaupo store if you stop by.
