PAINTING ON LOCATION

Two items were important in this
painting, first is the perspective on the building, second was the texture
of the screen door. Here is a link that teaches perspective.

The second was an "off the wall" technique.
To capture the texture of the screen in the door, I blotted some color through
a piece of screen in a couple of strategic places.
With acrylics it was easy, the first try was a mistake and it just wiped
off. The second try was just right and it stayed on the final painting.
