Learn the Real Color Wheel
by Donald A. Jusko

Painting on Location
#13, Hosmer's Grove, Maui, 30x22, acrylic on linen panel

I know this has some water color properties, but that's what you get when you work in both mediums, a happy medium!

It's cold up here at 6,000 feet, but the air is so clean it keeps me coming back for more.  The first day was spent just on the drawing, three days later I was all smiles.

My favorite brush for this painting was a smashed down #8 series 8 Winsor Newton water color sable.   After I use up the point painting water colors, I hammered the ferrel down flat and use it as an acrylic filbert.  Try it, it's great!
