Nahiku Rain Flowers

7.5x11, acrylic painting on panel
July 9, 2002, #870

These are typical flowers here in the rain forests of Nahiku, they stand out as color oppositions to the predominant greens.

This is a one day painting. Click it for a larger image.
The view was so complicated I decided to just start painting, we had to be finished in 5 hours
