The picture is complete when you realize your intentions. I wrote that in my notes in 1995, just before I started writing this course. On the same page were these notes on color. To mix a warm Yellow-Green use Cadmium Yellow and Green, to mix a cool Yellow-Green use Turquoise instead. And these notes on brushes. See what's in front of you as brush strokes,which brush will fill those patterns best, you know, fill in all the cracks. I like the filbert for general work and a round furrel flat end hair lettering brush for specifics. |
